Our founder

Fatou Kiné Ndiaye is a pillar of French and Senegalese basketball, with almost 80 caps for the French national team. Her track record and her nomination as the best African player in the history of European basketball attest to her impact on Senegalese and French basketball.

After her sporting career, Fatou dedicated her career to training young talent in Senegal, opening the first basketball school in Senegal, “Kiné Basket School”, in 1995. When her school closed, she continued to train young people on the courts throughout Africa and in France to this day.

Today, Fatou has set up PULSE AFRICA, an association dedicated to education through sport.

Success on the tennis court and on the school benches for a promising future

Convinced that sport is the school of life I've been lucky enough to receive support throughout my career in terms of my schooling and my post-career career plans. Today, I'd like to support a generation of female basketball players with a dual sporting and academic project, and create an international community of young female basketball players, starting in Africa, the cradle of the world's youth.
